Wave Cannon “Zero”

First up is the Caroline Wave Cannon Zero, the 

WAVE CANNON “Zero” is both a throwback to one of our very first unreleased prototypes of a pedal and the culmination of over a decade of messing with these circuits. It can be wild, it can be mild, it can tear your head off, it can be warm like your granny’s gravy, or as nasty as you want to be.  This is the newest and most badass (and final!) version of the original Wave Cannon distortion. This circuit, one of Caroline's first, has been tweaked and fine tuned over the years, and now has an added HAVOC switch that is not for the faint of heart...but really, is anything we do here for the faint of heart? 

The shape control has been refined to allow for more depth to low and medium gain sounds, the voltage control has been introduced to let users get starved and broken textures, and the HAVOC control has been downright *exploded* – it has its own control for tuning and mixing the feedback signal, it can now function both as the first thing your guitar sees OR later in the signal chain, and thanks to our friend John Snyder at Electronic Audio Experiments, it can be momentary or latching!

We’ve considered ourselves lucky to get to make these effects for you over the years. There’s a real joy to plugging into this thing, turning things up, getting a good amp to get gnarly, and feeling like you and your instrument have gained a superpower...and then hitting Havoc or starving the voltage and wondering if you really know what you’re doing with that superpower! That joy is why we do this, and why we wanted to make and share this thing with you.
