1960s Harmony H-6362 Baxendale Conversion OM Acoustic Guitar
1960s Harmony H-6362 Baxendale Conversion OM Acoustic Guitar w/ gigbag
A great old 60s Harmony H-6362 made in Chicago. Scott Baxendale not only restores these great guitars, but rebuilds them ion a way that improves their overall tone and playability. Here is a youtube video that shows the typical process:

This Harmony is in much better shape than the one in the video. There are no top cracks. There appears to have been center seam seperation in the back before the conversion. New Waverly open back tuners. New bridge, bone saddle, bone nut, frets, bridge plate, body binding on the back (top binding is original, the conversion work is done by removing the back), new bridge plate, original, new back and top bracing, and original finsh with just a few spots with the finish chips from the work and scratches from the years.
Great playability and sound! The Baxendale conversion is a big step up from the tone one typically thinks of with these old Harmony guitars.
