1963 Airline Model 7207, Harmony Built Stratotone Mars

A 1963 Airline model 7207 in excellent condition.  Comes with gig bag.  There is some wear on the top of the headstock and one chip in the cutaway.

The Stratotone Mars was a two pickup model in the Harmony Stratotone series, featuring DeArmond “Hershey Bar” single coil pickups set in a chambered hollow body.  Were it branded as a Harmony, it would be designated as a model H46. It has a 24 1/4” scale and comes with the original Cupcake Knobs and three-position pickup selector switch.  The Hershey Bar pickups are an unusual design more aligned to the Les Paul low impedance pickups with a reading of 40K ohm.  The guitar has a big chunky neck and plays well.  A very cool guitar.
