1967-68 Harmony H78-Cherry Red
1967-68 Harmony H78-Cherry Red

The top of the line Harmony H78.  3 DeArmond foil pickups with individual controls and on/off switches. Does not get much cooler than this.  Cherry sunburst finish, in very good to excellent condition.  Light player wear, and all original.  There is some laquer checking, no structual issues. There are some scratches on the back and the top back edge of the headstock has wear.  Comes with newer hard shell case.

This relatively flashy double-cutaway thinline hollow-body guitar was the top-of-the-line thin body model from Harmony in the mid-late 1960s.   This one is a Harmony from Chicago and not a Silvertone or a Harmony by Heath.

This is a cool example of this best-of-Harmony guitar...lately a rediscovered favorite of Dan Auerbach, among others.
