1960s Gibson B-25
Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Gibson B-25 in a rich cherry sunburst finish—one of those guitars that feels like it’s already lived a few stories and is ready for a few more.
This is a player-grade vintage piece, not a closet queen, and it shows honest wear throughout—exactly what you’d expect from a well-loved Gibson of this era. The finish has checking, surface scratches, and signs of use, especially on the top and pickguard area. The back and sides show wear and light hazing in spots, but nothing structurally concerning.
Condition & Notes:
- Structurally solid with no major cracks observed
- Neck appears straight and playable
- Frets show wear but still have life
- Finish wear, checking, and cosmetic marks throughout (see photos)
- Headstock edges show some wear/chipping
- Tuners function as they should
- Includes vintage-style hard case (blue interior)
Tone & Feel:
This B-25 delivers that classic Gibson voice—warm, woody, and dry with a focused midrange that records beautifully and sits perfectly in a mix. It’s responsive to a light touch but can still bark when you dig in. Think campfire storyteller meets studio secret weapon.
Why this one?
Because it’s not trying to be perfect—it’s trying to be played. And it does that extremely well.
