1976 Martin D 12-28
Solid guitar! Neck is near perfect (I'll get a photo of the fret-line). A dark Rosewood on the back and sides. Ebony board, hog neck with a thin dark rosewood face on the headstock. Binding is all attached perfectly (important for Martins). Pick guard is not lifting, neither is the bridge. The neck really is excellent and there isn't even a hump near the body joint. Frets themselves have has a light leveling with about 70% life left (they are still very tall with plenty of meat). I like the diamond volute on the back of the stock, very pronounced like a decoration piece with utility. Action at fret 1 is perfect, not too high or low. Fret-ends feel smooth and I can see the file marks so it has had a fret-end dress before (which is good with us being in a dry climate). Overall excellent condition! Case looks great too
