1997 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Plain Top

Single-owner instrument with light, tasteful player wear throughout. There is one small finish ding located in the cutaway. The guitar has been professionally refretted with stainless steel frets by Guitar Remedy (Santa Ana, CA); documentation for both the refret and the original sale is included in the case.

Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups are currently installed. The original Gibson pickups are included in the case, along with the original switch back plate, switch ring, and jack plate. Two original knobs are also included.

Plain-top Custom Shop Les Pauls from this period are uncommon and increasingly difficult to find. The guitar weighs 9 lb 4 oz and presents as a well-maintained, player-grade example with desirable upgrades and complete provenance.
