This guitar is from the first year of Taylor’s much heralded pure acoustic Grand Symphony (GS) series. The very next year this this series became known as the GS8. These GS guitars are legendary and are still raved about on forums today as some of the best sounding instruments Taylor ever produced. They are also just beautiful guitars. Designed with distinguished details like Abalone rosette,Abalone dot fret board inlays, mother of pearl Taylor headstock logo and Ivoroid bindings on both the body and fretboard. The Grand Symphony body delivers a larger more robust dynamic range and greater volume. The GS delivers deep bass, strong midrange and balance’s treble frequencies that respond phenomenally when strummed, yet maintain a rich clarity when fingerpicked. This guitar is in overall excellent condition. There is some very light player wear but no imperfections. 1 3/4" nut 25 1/2" scale length medium C shaped satin neck is extremely comfortable. Taylor Upgrade OHSC included.
